On Wed. March 25th Vibrant Abbotsford in partnership with Sardis Doorway for Women facilitated small group discussions with the Sardis Doorway participants regarding the provincial governments poverty reduction plan.
On Tuesday, February 27, 2018, Vibrant Abbotsford along with various local and provincial panelists provided information on strategies and actions being taken in our local communities and provincially.
The FWC was established to independently advise the BC government how to move towards a $15-an-hour minimum wage. On November 16th, the first regional meeting was held in Abbotsford to seek public input on their first set of recommendations.
